Witold Pedrycz |
Witold Pedrycz(IEEE Fellow, 1998) is Professor and Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Computational Intelligence in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. He is also with the Systems Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland. In 2009 Dr. Pedrycz was elected a foreign member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 2012 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. Witold Pedrycz has been a member of numerous program committees of IEEE conferences in the area of fuzzy sets and neurocomputing. In 2007 he received a prestigious Norbert Wiener award from the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. He is a recipient of the IEEE Canada Computer Engineering Medal, a Cajastur Prize for Soft Computing from the European Centre for Soft Computing, a Killam Prize, and a Fuzzy Pioneer Award from the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society. His main research directions involve Computational Intelligence, fuzzy modeling and Granular Computing, knowledge discovery and data mining, fuzzy control, pattern recognition, knowledge-based neural networks, relational computing, and Software Engineering. He has published numerous papers in this area. He is also an author of 16 research monographs covering various aspects of Computational Intelligence, data mining, and Software Engineering. |

Jie Yang |
Jie Yang received a bachelor’s degree in Automatic Control in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), where a master’s degree in Pattern Recognition & Intelligent System was achieved three years later. In 1994, he received Ph.D. at Department of Computer Science, University of Hamburg, Germany. Now he is the Professor and Director of Institute of Image Processing and Pattern recognition in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is the principal investigator of more than 30 national and ministry scientific research projects in image processing, pattern recognition, data mining, and artificial intelligence. He has published six books，more than five hundreds of articles in national or international academic journals and conferences. Google citation over 27500，H-index 85. Up to now, he has supervised 5 postdoctoral, 46 doctors and 70 masters, awarded six research achievement prizes from ministry of Education, China and Shanghai municipality. Two Ph.D. dissertation he supervised was evaluated as “National Best Ph.D. Dissertation” in 2009 and in 2017. Two Ph.D. dissertations he supervised were evaluated as “Shanghai Best Ph.D. Dissertation” in 2009 and 2010. He has owned 48 patents. |

Xiaodong Liu |
Prof. Xiaodong Liu has been very active in the research in AI-driven software engineering, focusing on cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things, service-oriented architecture, evolution of cloud services, and intelligence-driven software engineering. He has won 15 external grants and successfully led or leading these externally funded projects with the role of principal investigator with a total value of over 4.5 million GBPs to his university. Currently Prof Liu leads the Intelligence-Driven Software Engineering Research Group. He is the founder a spin out company, FlexiCAGE Ltd. He has published 200 papers in refereed international journals and conferences and 5 book chapters. He is the inventor of 1 patent in Generative Component Adaptation registered in UK, USA and at International Level (PCT). He has been the chair, co-chair or PC member of a number of IEEE and ACM International Conferences. He is the associate editor of 2 international journals and the editorial board member of 3 international journals. He is the guest editor of 6 journal special issues, and the chief editor of 3 IGI Global Research Handbooks. He is the regular reviewer of other 6 international journals. He is a senior member of IEEE Computer Society, and a member of British Computer Society. |

Jia Weijia |
Professor Weijia Jia (Member of National Academy of Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Fellow) is currently the Director of Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Future Networking, and Super Intelligent Computer Center, Beijing Normal University (BNU, Zhuhai); also a Chair Professor at BNBU(UIC), Zhuhai, Guangdong, China. His contributions have been recoganized for the research of edge AI, optimal network routing and deployment; vertex cover; anycast and multicast protocols; sensors networking; knowledge relation extractions; NLP and intelligent edge computing. He has over 700 publications in the prestige international journals/conferences and research books and book chapters. He has received the best product awards from the International Science & Tech. Expo (Shenzhen) in 2011/2012 and the 1st Prize of Scientific Research Awards from the Ministry of Education of China in 2017 (list 2), and top 2% World Scientists in Stanford-list (2020-2024) and many provincial science and tech awards. |

Kong Xiangjie |
The Vice Dean and Professor at the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology. He is a IEEE Senior Member, a recipient of the Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund, a Qianjiang Distinguished Expert of Hangzhou, and a Canal Young Scholar at Zhejiang University of Technology. He is also the founder and director of the Urban Science and Social Computing Laboratory. His primary research areas include urban computing, social computing, and knowledge management. He has published and accepted over 200 papers in internationally renowned journals and conferences such as IEEE TKDE, IEEE TMC, IJCAI, and ACM Computing Surveys, with more than 180 of these papers indexed by SCI. He has been consistently listed in Stanford's Global Top 2% Scientists (including both the Career-long and Single-year Impact lists) and has been recognized as a top scientist in the field of computer science, reported by authoritative media such as Nature Index and ScienceNet. He has been granted over 30 invention patents and has led the completion of numerous national and provincial-level research projects. He serves as an Editor for international SCI journals including Wireless Communications and Computing, PeerJ Computer Science, KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems, and Electronics. Additionally, he has been a (Lead) Guest Editor for special issues of several international SCI journals such as Pervasive and Mobile Computing, IEEE Access, and International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks. |

Yang Liang |
Professor at the School of Communication Engineering, Hunan University, specializes in wireless communications and optical wireless communications, with over 160 SCI-indexed papers published, including more than 130 IEEE journal articles. He has been consecutively listed in Stanford University's Global Top 2% Scientists (both Career-long and Single-year Impact lists) for five years and was named an Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Researcher in 2023 and 2024. As principal investigator, he has led five NSFC projects (including four general programs and one youth program) and one key project under the National Key R&D Program of China, while also participating in one NSFC Regional Innovation and Development Joint Fund key project. He serves or has served as an editorial board member for several prestigious international and domestic journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, IEEE Communications Letters, Science China: Information Sciences, Journal of Communications, Chinese Journal on Internet of Things, and Acta Electronica Sinica. He was a committee member of the 8th and 9th Communication Theory & Signal Processing Committees under the China Institute of Communications. In 2020, he received the Second Prize of the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Award (ranked first) and was recognized as an Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker by the Chinese Institute of Electronics. He currently holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Hunan Electronics Society. |

Pascal Lorenz |
Professor at the University of Haute-Alsace, recognized as a Senior Member of IEEE, Fellow of IARIA, and Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Communications Society. His research focuses on QoS, wireless networks, and high-speed networks. He has published 3 monographs, holds 3 patents, and authored 200 international papers. Lorenz has held editorial roles at IEEE Communications Magazine (2000-2006), IEEE Networks Magazine (since 2015), and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (since 2017). He chaired IEEE ComSoc France (2014-2020) and IEEE France Finance (2017-2022), and led the IEEE ComSoc Satellite and Space Communications Technical Committee (2022-2023). Currently, he serves on the IEEE Region 8 Conference Coordination Committee and as an Associate Editor for several journals, including IJCS-Wiley, SCN-Wiley, and JNCA-Elsevier. |

Xinheng Wang |
Founding Head of Mechatronics and Robotics at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. As an IET Fellow, IEEE Senior Member, and leader of Jiangsu's "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" team, his research spans intelligent/connected vehicles, airport robotics, smart manufacturing, edge computing, digital twins, acoustic sensing, healthcare, motion detection, and power system monitoring, including SLAM/navigation in robotics. With 230+ publications and dozens of patents (6 granted in the U.S./Japan/Korea, 18 in China), his work was rated "World Leading" in the UK's REF. He has led/contributed to 30+ projects funded by the EU, UK EPSRC, Innovate UK, NSFC, and industry, driving technological and industrial advancements. |
